In April 2012, Blanka Matragi accepted the invitation of Jan Světlík, CEO of Vítkovice Holding, a. s. and an important patron of the arts, to the sixth annual SMALT ART VÍTKOVICE symposium. During five days, the designer created five three-dimensional sculptures and a number of smaller objects. Blanka says about her participation in this unconventional project. It offers so many possibilities and the tense anticipation in front of the kiln reminded me of my garment work, waiting to take my painted and embroidered dress pieces off the frames and start arranging them into models.
