If anyone complained about the lack of glamour and worldliness in Czech fashion designers, the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Blanka Matragi's work put an end to it. The spectacular fashion show, at which 51 Haute Couture models were presented, was written in golden letters in the imaginary chronicle of Czech fashion. The retrospective exhibition of formal and wedding dresses was equally successful. It was seen by 82,000 visitors in three weeks, who stood in line for several hours every day to see Blanka's now notorious "butterfly dress" with their own eyes. Public interest was also boosted by the publication of the author's autobiografie with name „Blanka Matragi“.
